JOIN US AT THE PUBLIC RALLY

On Sunday 24 November, join us at Town Hall in Sydney as we stand together with community leaders and advocates to collectively raise our voices against gender-based violence and officially launch #SafeEverywhereAlways as part of the UN's 16 Days of Activism.

From home to work, and everywhere in between, safety is non-negotiable.

Women and girls should be able to walk down a street without fear, study without intimidation, work without harassment, and use the internet without enduring abuse. Yet, an estimated 736 million women globally – almost one in three – have been subjected to physical and or sexual violence at least once in their lifetime. And when 1 woman is violently killed every 4 days in Australia, it’s a national disgrace. We can’t afford to wait.

This rally is not just a gathering of voices; it's a public event that welcomes everyone—from community members and advocates to victims and survivors, along with their families. Together, we will stand in solidarity, amplify the voices of those affected, and demonstrate our shared commitment to creating a safer, more equitable world for all.

Attendance to the event is free and open to everyone, even if you haven't registered to take part in the #SafeEverywhereAlways walk.
