Hi family and friends, from November 25th, I’m going to be walking for a cause that is close to my heart.
Every woman and girl around the world, deserves to feel Safe. Everywhere. Always. – at home, at the gym, even online - and that is why I’m joining UN Women Australia in the walk to end violence against women and girls.
Help me reach my fundraising goal and we can help to build a better future for women and girls around the world.

Friday 8th Nov Hi everyone! My name is Alice and I’m a university student from Brisbane who believes women should be safe WHEREVER THEY ARE. Violence against women is an issue that is so widespread that even the lurking threat of it is enough to prevent women from feeling safe in their own streets. This is not okay.Gender-based violence is an issue close to my heart, and I hope you can stand against it with me as I take on this challenge by UN Women. I am very aware that this walk won’t magically fix everything, but we need to be starting these tough conversations if we want real change; enough is enough.
