End Violence Against Women

From November 25th, I’m going to be walking for a cause that is close to my heart.

In 2024, 85 Australian women have had their lives taken away from them due to violence.

In Australia, women face a 1 in 3 chance of being assaulted, and 1 in 2 will experience sexual harassment.

These are not just statistics; it’s a national disgrace.

Like most women I know, I too have a story and have experienced violence throughout my life. There needs to be a change. Victims of violence need to be protected. Offenders need to be held accountable. The Government needs to do more and they should have done more to protect the lives lost.

Every woman deserves to feel safe. That is why I’m joining UN Women Australia in the walk to end violence against women and girls.

Help me reach my fundraising goal and we can contribute to build a better future for women and girls in Australia and around the world.
