Hi family and friends, from November 25th, I’m going to be walking for a cause that is close to my heart. 

Every woman and girl around the world, deserves to feel Safe. Everywhere. Always. – at home, at the gym, even online - and that is why I’m joining UN Women Australia in the walk to end violence against women and girls.

Hi everyone!!
From November 25 to December 10th, I will be walking, hiking and running a total of 60km to raise money and awareness for a cause that is deeply close to my heart. 

As some may know, I recently involved as a jury member on a domestic violence murder trial in the Supreme Court. For 5 weeks, I was exposed to the unspeakable real life horrors of domestic violence, being involved firsthand in some of the worst facets of society & humankind. 
Considering what I have learnt and endured over the past month, I would like to turn what I have experienced into something good. 

That being said, I will be doing this in honour of Nelomie Perera - whose life was tragically stolen from her - as well as every single girl & woman in Australia who has been impacted by the shattering realities of gendered & family violence. Every single woman in Australia should be kept and made to feel safe, no questions asked.
