On Sunday 24 November, join us in Sydney as we stand together in solidarity with community leaders and advocates to collectively raise our voices against gender-based violence and officially launch #SafeEverywhereAlways.
From home to work, and everywhere in between, safety is non-negotiable.
Women and girls should be able to walk down a street without fear, study without intimidation, work without harassment, and use the internet without enduring abuse. Yet, an estimated 736 million women globally – almost one in three – have been subjected to physical and or sexual violence at least once in their lifetime. And when 1 woman is violently killed every 4 days in Australia, it’s a national disgrace. We can’t afford to wait.
Attendance to the public rally is free and open to everyone, even if you haven't registered to take part in the #SafeEverywhereAlways walk.
Register your interest to attend and be the first to find out more details on when and where it will be held.
