Hi family and friends, from November 25th, I’m going to be walking for a cause that is close to my heart. 

Every woman and girl around the world, deserves to feel Safe. Everywhere. Always. – at home, at the gym, even online - and that is why I’m joining UN Women Australia in the walk to end violence against women and girls.

Since the recent US election has sparked an insane resurgence of a very harsh reminder of truly just how unsafe it is to simply BE a woman; regardless of your race, socio or economic background - I’m trying to do my part with what I can, and this feels like a good start for a little old me to start (figuratively and literally) walking in the right direction.
